David Mosca  LCMHCA

Adolescents & Adults

My name is David Mosca and I am a

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in the state of North Carolina.

Life can feel overwhelming at times — whether it’s anxiety that won’t quiet down, the weight of depression, or struggles with dating, relationships, and self-confidence. Many of my clients are men who feel pressure to keep everything together even when they’re stressed or uncertain about what’s next. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’re feeling, quiet the mental noise, and find direction again. Together, we’ll rebuild confidence and create changes that last.

My approach is grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and empathy. I use CBT, mindfulness, and DBT skills to help you notice patterns, manage emotions, and take practical steps between sessions. I’m supportive, yet direct — honest feedback without judgment — so therapy stays useful in your daily life.

I earned a BS in Biology from Duke, an MA from the University of the Cumberlands, and worked as a neuroscience research assistant at Princeton University. I'm very analytical and love strategizing with my clients - you can expect lots of goal-setting! If you're ready to start creating real change, I'd be honored to help you take the first step.
